Thanks ... I'll go take a look for it right away. It certainly was not in
the list of programs to uninstall. So I'd look for hidden updates.

Hi
To revert back to IE 8, one needs to uninstall IE 9. As part of the
uninstallation process you will be asked if you want to go back to IE 8. The
trouble as I recall was that in order to uninstall IE 9 I had to find it in
the programs list in the control panel. It was one of the hidden updates.
 I hope this helps.

Hi
Well, I was running the test version and updated to the full version
when it came out. There were few issues. However, My brokers website
requires me to use the JAWS cursor to access certain features like
transferring money. In this case IE 9 simply did not allow JAWS to read the
area of the screen that had those Icons. So, for now I am stuck with IE 8. I
hope JAWS will address these issues so I can upgrade in the near future! I
can hardly wait. Smile.

Hello group,
I have read bits and pieces about Explorer 9 but I'm still not sure
whether it would or wouldn't be a good idea to load it. In fact, there have
been confusing and conflicting messages on the subject here on this list.
I'm reasonably sure that if I hate it, I can uninstall and go back to
Explorer 8 but before I go through all of that trouble, has anyone drawn a
detailed comparison of how each of these versions works with jaws?
for now, I'm going to chicken out and avoid loading it even though my
computer pesters me every time I start it up.
I have Windows 7 Professional, jaws 12 and I'm running a 64 bit system.
Any thoughtful input would be welcome.
Thanks everyone.

How please, can I go back to IE8?
I FOUND THE SAME ISSUES OF WHICH YOU SPOKE. I'M NOT READY FOR IE9 under
JFW11.

Smile.

God bless,
Mark
