If you are going to uninstall it you have to tab to uninstall everything.
Now I just hope by me uninstalling it I won't need it.

Hi Marilyn,
If it was in the system tray, chances are it is set to load at startup,
which means it will be back when you re-boot the machine.
You can un-install it from Add/Remove programs in the control panel.

Rick, it appeared only in the system tray so to get rid of QuikTime I 
went

to the context menu and hit "exit."  Now it is gone from the system tray,

Rick, the problem is that it isn't in the Control panel?  Isn't that wierd? 
Nor on the programs list.  BEt I'll find it if I search.  Problem is that 
there will be 100's and maybe thousands there because of the Macster backup 
hard drive.  I really don't want this thing.  marilyn
