Did you try to just hit the delete key & place them into the recycle bin?

Hi Doug,
What shows up in the task scheduler list view is not actually a program,
rather a shortcut for it.
The items in this list view can be removed by simply selecting and hitting the 
delete key.

Well, because it had an "add" thingy, I didn't think it would act like a 
windows explorer window,
but I took your advice and was able to delete them as you suggested.  Thanks
