Hi If you are using out look express, the fastest way to empty the deleted items folder is as follows. First do an alt F. Next right arrow twice. then down arrow until you hear empty deleted items folder. Press enter and follow the prompts. God bless, Mark God loves you! That only deletes mails in Outlook Express but not on Gmail's webmail. I think there is currently no other way besides checking every single message. There should be a select all messages checkbox in addition to the separate checkboxes. not only that but even though you use pop access, you still have to empty the trash folder in gmail itself. This is because, I think, Gmail can be accessed with Pop only, and/or not Imap. If it was Imap, then I guess everything would be synchronized, including messages you've sent to the trash. I think so. While you are inside your trash do a control a to high-light everything then hit the delete key everything should go away. No. This will only empty the deleted items folder on your computer. You have to either manually do it on the web or Gmail will do it for you every 30 days, apparently.
