now am i right in saying that it can be found in local disk/ document and 
settings/ my name/ application data/ freedom scientific/ jaws 8/ settings/ 
enu?

Navigate to the sub menu of your particular version of JAWS and right arrow 
in twice. Then hit enter on the top choice in that sub menu.

that's good to know.  I was always afraid to do something like that thinking 
it would corrupt jaws in some way.
