Re: [BlindHandyMan] Plug in mouse and rat repeller?
Does anyone know if these really work? QVC used to sell something like this, years ago. And sometimes, I think it would be handy, as we seem to live near a field. - Original Message - From: jim To: blindhandyman@yahoogroups.com Sent: Sunday, September 20, 2009 4:22 PM Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] Plug in mouse and rat repeller? hi Betsy that's what there called. electronic mouse repeller. google has lots of them usually there about $20 unless you can find a package deal. If your talking about the kind that omit a high pitched sound, well I don't think that they really work. - Original Message - From: Claudia cdelreal1...@sbcglobal.net To: blindhandyman@yahoogroups.com Sent: Monday, September 21, 2009 4:07 AM Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] Plug in mouse and rat repeller? Re: [BlindHandyMan] Plug in mouse and rat repeller?
I remember consumer reports did a thing on them a few years back and claimed they didn't work. but there are plenty of folks who swear by them, and plenty who say no luck My guess is they might work for a while but hungry beasties can get used to a lot of things particularly if the noise doesn't change. In 38 years of living in this house we have had only 2 mouse invasions by one mouse each time. If we had plugged in one of those electric mouse repelers we probably would testify that it works. We have never used one. It's like the guy who is sprinkling flour on his lawn and when an enquiring neighbor asks why he says it's to keep the elephants away. The neighbor replies that there probably isn't a free roaming elephant with in 10,000 miles. To which the person replies, see how well it works? Regards. Max. K 4 O D S. [BlindHandyMan] Plug in mouse and rat repeller?
I know I saw an electronic device mentioned on the list for keeping rats and mice away. I need to tell my friend the name of this thing and I don't have time today to go through the archives. Would someone tell me again? She has three of the laziest cats on earth. They brought the beast in, let it go, and it died inside the back of the refrigerator. What a mess that was, story for another day. TIA, Betsy Teamwork: Together we achieve the extraordinary.
