I think the best one is a Cobalt product. It is verbal to the hundredths
of a second.

I have a VoiceZone talking watch that I purchased from Maxi Aids. Not only
does this watch verbally give me the time and date, it has a stop watch and
four alarms on it. It cost $20 and they also have others from about $15 -
$80.

Re: [BlindHandyMan] Talking stopwatches

2009-02-01 Thread Tom Fowle
the old original Sharp "Talking Time 1" had several stop watch modes.
Most who still have them won't give them up because of there many fancy
operations, but you might put out requests wherever you think appropriate
for a spare one.

I believe the Braille'n'speak has a stop watch, as does the robotron Aria, a
1990s similar product.

I know an engineer who has at least prototyped one, and will write him and
see how it goes.

There may well be other talking clocks out there with stop watch functions.
