maybe a very simple bike and a manual treadmill so you don't have to
fiddle with screens and settings.

Claudia, I have a Schwinn, Airdyne and like
it. I don't use any of the electric stuff. They
have been around for years and last a long
time. With this bike, you don't have to set any tension.

I have a weight room in my basement, or maybe I should say that my basement is
a weight room, as it is full of equipment. I'm a firm believer in working the
body to maintain vitality. I'm over 60 years old, but I don't particularly
want to look or feel like it. Here
is my thoughts on bikes vs tread mills. Bikes allow for an easier, less
intrusive workout. A treadmill will usually give you a more intensive workout.
Now, the thing about these observations, is that it is totally based on the
person working out. Doing either is a hundred times better than doing nothing.

you're talking to a person who uses these on a daily bases. the one problem
that a lot of tredmills have now are they are touch screen, it's rare to
find a machine that you can navigate by yourself, unless you mark the
buttons that you want to use. Once you have the buttons marked they are easy
to use. As for a bike well that is usually do it yourself by setting the
tention for what you're pushing. most bikes will have a knob on the front of
it that you turn either left or right to set the tention. If you're looking
for weights I would recomand something like the boeflex, this machine is
compact and you can do everything all in one. Unless you know your way
around the gym that you set up and have a little space then feel free to get
more equipment like a bentch press, leg press, ... most machines come with
two in one or three or four in one so that is a bonus. If I had the space
and the extra room I would consider getting weight equipment to work out
with but I go to the Universrity gym and work out there. Talk to you later.

Any type of the two will do. All you have to do is mark the touch pad.
