Any gui or cli ripper that rips a cd into one single file?

2017-11-14 Thread Linux for blind general discussion
Hi!
Any cd ripper out there such as Asunder or other that can rip a cd into one
single file?
I am ripping audiobooks and want to have each cd in one separate single file.
Thanks.

Lars here. Yes, you can use the abcde command, like this:

abcde -1 -o flac -a default,cue

Hope this helps.

"abcde" comes to mind. manpage says abcde "can also grab a CD and turn it into
a single FLAC file with an embedded cuesheet which can be user later on as a
source for other formats, and will be treated as if it was the original CD."

you could always glue individually recorded tracks together using sox.
