Every time I have filled out this survey, I have told them the same
thing. I believe it was just last year that I told them that I couldn't
accurately complete the survey, because not only did they not include my
desktop OS and screen reader, but I don't think my mobile OS and screen
reader were listed either. That could have been the mid 2015 survey, but
still, the fact remains that many people have filled out this survey
inaccurately again and again because there is no proper way to
accurately complete it.

It has been said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over,
expecting different results. Frankly, I'm not sure who this industry is,
nor do I care, since time and time again, these so-called researchers
have continued to ignore Linux, and only recently have they finally
decided that Android is suitable for what I'm sure they and others like
to call "the blind." With this in mind, I refuse to continue doing the
same thing over and over, expecting different results. I'm done. If I
keep trying this same survey each time they put out a new one, it will
do far more to make me go insane than it will do to help anyone.

there is a contact e-mail for each researcher...you tell them directly.
and in the closing comments for the research.
I have no idea how many times you have personally tried to make your voice
be heard regarding anything...and I am 100% sure you have zero
information on how often I might have done this. So your use of we makes
no sense to me personally.
Still, there are companies contracted to provide tests across platforms
on accessibility. If you do not tell the people drafting this industry
respected effort, how will they know?

I had already taken this survey, like so many others before it.
Voiceover is indeed mentioned, as is Talkback. Still no Orca, and no
Linux software of any kind. Yes, it's definitely a waste of time, since
this same thing comes up as much as twice a year and little ever changes.

While I agree chances are low the people behind this survey will ever
give attention to Linux flavors other than Android, not even trying to
draw their attention to such a glaring omission will accomplish
nothing but making our skepticism into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Anyways, I filled out the survey and used the comments box to name
drop as many Linux screen readers as I could think of, and I'll likely
fill out the next survey if I'm made aware of it. Might ultimately
have been a waste of time, but I can think of far worse ways to spend
fifteen minutes.

I will have a look. But anyway: "When submitted, your browser version
and operating system will be collected." So if Linux users reply, they
will now proprotions of linux users.

If some data could be opened anonymously and shared to accessibility
developpers, I would want a look, what are the questions since I don't
wanna put a biais since I don't actually use a screen reader ...
