pg_connect() implies that the Vsite in question is using Postgres and
not MySQL. And no, the Solarspeed PHP no longer is built with Postgres
support, sorry.

Hi Colin,

This is normal when the Vsites aren't owned by a siteAdmin. But for
suPHP and PHP-FPM you must set owenership under "Services" / "Web"/ "Web
Ownership" to one of the siteAdmin#s of that Vsite.

If that doesn't fix it, then please send me the login details and I'll
take a look.

Hi Michael,

Okay picked up that all websites are owned by nobody! __

That has got to the website ... but now having php problems connecting to
databases which I am investigating.
We installed a solarspeed PHP package as suggested so whould have all modules.
They connect to a Postgres database on a windows server to pull in data.

Login by SSH to the server in question and use "lynx http://..."; to
access one of the Vsites. See if that works or also redirects to the GUI.

Already tried that and that didn't work which is why I started looking at
permissions

Most likely it'll work and if so, that indicates a routing or arp table
issue. If this is a VPS, restart it and see if that helps.

Already restarted a couple of times.

All the best

Colin

Check /etc/hosts on the new server and see if the Vsites are listed
there with the old or the new IP address.

Yup - listed correctly.

Or it could be that the DNS change hasn't propagated yet.

There is no DNS change - the vsite IP addresses are the same as they were on
the old server.
DNS all looks okay - correct IPs.

Any other ideas? I must be missing something.

[BlueOnyx:23125] Easy Migrate problem

2019-08-16 Thread Colin Jack
We have used the new super duper Easy Migrate to move a client 5208R to a new
5209R VPS but have run into an issue.

Because the source server was still live we used the --ip switch to import
vsites to a different ip on the destination.
All copied across okay - checked databases etc. and all good.

We then went to the source server and changed the vsite ip addresses to random
addresses and edited the vsites on the new server to reflect the original IP
addresses from the source.
We then rebooted the VPS and all came up okay except that anybody trying to
access any of the vsites gets the host :444 login. ☹

Checked httpd.conf and vhosts/vsitex files and all looks as it should be with
correct IP and vsite url.

This is happening on all the vsites ...

Where else to look please?

Thanks

Colin
