GURPS Uplift was a "worldbook" that let you roleplay in the Uplift universe. It's out of print, and probably will stay that way unless I have time to update it. It's either derived from the books, supplied by Dave via notes, or made up by me (and some friends) and given a stamp of approval. Then Kevin Tarr posted a request for some information about cameras, which lured me out of lurk mode. (Kevin: did you ever pick out a camera? What did you get?) The significance of this? None, really. It's just notable to me because I rarely tend to stick around most online communities I've joined over the years for more than a few months before moving on. So for me to still be here says something positive about the people and the general overall quality of discussion we have here (despite the occasional wars over sensitive, inflammatory topics like hot cocoa). So thanks, everyone, for a year (and more) of challenging, fun, intelligent, though-provoking, educational, and entertaining discussion! Cheers, -Bryon By happenstance I got a cheap zoom camera. I have no idea how it is, I have not taken one picture yet it. Last weekend was the first time I took it out of the house, but nothing picture worth showed up. Well, I saw a large deer in northern PA, but the driver wouldn't turn around and go back to look at it, I was the only one who saw it. So I have a camera, cheap. But thanks for the info. Soy nog is the only way to go. Every morning I get a medium half-caff soy latte. Every once in a while I change-up, just to keep the baristas on their toes; I like being a regular, being the "Norm" of my local SBC, but when you come in and they say "Eogan!" and start making a drink for you without taking your order.. eek! Recently we got a crop of new baristas, and they're driving me crazy. I've got to break them in all over again and train them how to make a latte.
