But it isn't symmetrical. Colour-blindness or perfect pitch are also 
genetically linked attributes that correlate to objective reality. 
Colour-blindness is a defect. Perfect pitch may be an advantage (or 
maybe not if it bugs you too much that everything is out of tune!).
