[brlcad-devel] Docbook path 355
I've reviewed and committed the docbook patch adding the animation tutorial and a few other files. Applied cleanly and built, which is excellent. A few items to note: * the image files weren't listed in the CMakeLists.txt file - they need to be listed so the build system knows to copy them. * books is reserved for very large (generally > 100 pages) documents - I moved the files to articles in a subsequent commit. Not a major problem, just something to remember going forward. * I've moved the libbu and libdm documentation into system/man3 - it's disabled for the moment, but that's because it needs work to modernize it and turn it into a proper man page, not because of any DocBook issues. [brlcad-devel] GSOC PROJECT PATCH
I have applied for GSOC NURBS EDITING PROJECT.My exams are over. I am free now. I would like to work on a patch. Can somebody please assign me some work to which I can contribute to? -- Regards, Nihar Mehta, Second Year Undergraduate, Dept of Mechanical Engineering, Minors in Computer Science IIT Bombay. -- One dashboard for servers and applications across Physical-Virtual-Cloud Widest out-of-the-box monitoring support with 50+ applications Performance metrics, stats and reports that give you Actionable Insights Deep dive visibility with transaction tracing using APM Insight. http://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/290420510;117567292;y___ BRL-CAD Developer mailing list brlcad-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/brlcad-devel

We don't assign work and you are over a month late to have anything be considered with your GSoC application. Really this was a discussion to be had a couple months ago, and required better time management given your overlapping academic responsibilities. You're more than welcome to work on a patch, but you will have to become familiar with BRL- CAD and its needs to understand how and where you could be a productive contributor. This is not something someone else can assign to you.
