[brlcad-devel] Docbook path 355

2015-04-26 Thread Clifford Yapp
I've reviewed and committed the docbook patch adding the animation
tutorial and a few other files. Applied cleanly and built, which is
excellent. A few items to note:

* the image files weren't listed in the CMakeLists.txt file - they
need to be listed so the build system knows to copy them.
* books is reserved for very large (generally > 100 pages) documents -
I moved the files to articles in a subsequent commit. Not a major
problem, just something to remember going forward.
* I've moved the libbu and libdm documentation into system/man3 - it's
disabled for the moment, but that's because it needs work to modernize
it and turn it into a proper man page, not because of any DocBook
issues.

Unfortunately for you, that is not how this process works at all. We don't
assign work and you are over a month late to have anything be considered with
your GSoC application. Really this was a discussion to be had a couple months
ago, and required better time management given your overlapping academic
responsibilities. You're more than welcome to work on a patch, but you will
have to become familiar with BRL- CAD and its needs to understand how and where
you could be a productive contributor. This is not something someone else can
assign to you.
