Although, if the tarball you are importing from includes a .cvsignore that instructs CVS to ignore certain files also distributed in the tarball, then the files probably weren't checked into the original vendor's CVS repository, which means that the files that are not ignored should contain enough information to rebuild the missing files and it might be better not to import them into your own repository. It looks like you're trying to import a CVS working directory (hopefully, one from another system). You can't actually import the CVS subdirectories without hopelessly confusing your CVS. The other files are probably listed in .cvsignore files in their containing directories -- you can import them by temporarily deleting the .cvsignore files, doing the import, then replacing the .cvsignore files and doing the import again to get the .cvsignore files. -Larry Jones I thought my life would seem more interesting with a musical score and a laugh track. -- Calvin ___ Bug-cvs mailing list Bug-cvs@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-cvs
