Follow-up Comment #1:

I'm reopening this.  It appears that git cvs-pserver currently does not
understand 'cvs up -D', therefore, there is no way to pick a fixed date (ie.
running ./gnulib-import.sh today gives different results than what is
intended).  We could either wait for the git folks to fix cvs-pserver, or
switch to using a git clone.  For that matter, it would be nice to turn on the
savannah git capabilities for findutils.

I've updated the license on perm.texi.   The file regexprops.texi still needs
to be dealt with, though.
