As you are perfectly entitled to do; however...

I cannot accept this patch.  I had a similar discussion a year or two
ago, with Colin Watson of Debian/Ubuntu.  Your patch would make pdfroff
completely dependent on the availability of a working mktemp.  I cannot
assume that such a dependency will always be satisfied; indeed, until
very recently, no such utility was available on the MS-Windows/MSYS
platform which, for me, is where I have most need of pdfroff.

Some form of fall back is necessary, in the event that the host does not
provide a working mktemp; I will not accept any patch which fails to
recognise this.
