The info node name was also wrong, that was fixed on master with 5ecbf5b1637762281992befec7fa53f966e5d0b1. contributing.texi contains: @pxref{submitting patches,, Submitting patches to a project, git, Git User Manual}). However, there is no 'git' info manual.
