Hello,

It seems this was never answered?

We usually use GFDL 1.2+ for our wiki pages. One just needs to add

“
Permission is granted to copy, distribute and/or modify this document
under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 or
any later version published by the Free Software Foundation; with no
Invariant Sections, no Front-Cover Texts, and no Back-Cover Texts.
”

to express it.

Sure! A free licence doesn't mean there is no copyright, on the contrary

You did submit something last year, which was still in my mbox. I have
now pushed it. It is on the open_issues/smp page.

FSVO "orally" :)
But yes, I agree, it is not actually useful to mention it.

It came from my bouncing the answer I had received.

First sentence : "There are GNU/Hurd boxes that we're offering shell
accounts on. These are generally available for people interested in
contributing, and who have already shown some level of involvement
in the project. If you simply want to try the Hurd, the easiest way
is running it in a virtual machine."

In other words, just use a virtual machine.

And don't put a mailing list address in the BCC field.

By the way, I suggest any mention of these shell accounts to be removed
and the accounts to be discussed orally at the initiative of someone who
can give them. They've just become a regular source of annoyance.
