The Russian versions of WinBoard are not produced by us.
Neither was the original WinBoard JAWS version, which was derived from a
very old WinBoard (4.0.2).
As far as I know that JAWS version did not work for I C S play at all.
The first version where we got that working was WinBoard 4.4.0.
Is that the version you have been using?
We just released WinBoard 4.5.0, and the plan was to release a JAWS version
of that as well,
but there were some bugs that needed immediate fixing, so we are releasing
4.5.1 any moment,
and I will then makea JAWS version of that.
WinBoard 4.5.1 offers language choice from the menu, based on translation
files that can be put in the same folder.
But we have no Russian translation yet, as no one has offered to make one
for us.
The best solution would be to switch to using the WinBoard 4.5.1 JAWS version,
whichwill appear within a week or so,
and have someone who understands both English and Russian make a Russian
language file for it.
Perhaps based on the most recent translation of a WinBoard that does exist.
I have no idea which version that would be; before WinBoard 4.5 we never
were involved in any translations.
It makes no sense to invest time in debugging obsolete versions.

Then I installed winboard 4.4.1 jaws and found that this problem
does not appear
but I prefer to play through ruswinboard because unfortunately I do
not understand much English.
For information, perhaps it is important to note that use windows xp,
jaws 11
