Apache 2.0.39 Windows OpenSSL

Same issue. DAV in this case is over SSL. Deletes always return a 500 error.
Error occurs when using either MS WebDav or DAVExplorer clients.

I just tried to install apache 1.3.26. This version shows up in the Apache
Service Monitor as well as in Windows service control manager. And it runs ;-)
But even a new install of 2.0.39 does not bring Apache2-service into sight.

The event monitor shows following entries from my attempts to install apache 2:
2002-06-27, 07:46:05: The Apache service named reported the following error:
(32548)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address
10.4.2.221:80 .
2002-06-27, 07:46:05: The Apache service named reported the following error:
no listening sockets available, shutting down .

Easier to read than Installer needs httpd-win32-msi/src/real_features
to test port availablity although that is still true.

security bug on apache 1.3.26 with Tru64 unix

Summary: security bug on apache 1.3.26 with Tru64 unix
   Product: Apache httpd-1.3
   Version: HEAD
  Platform: Alpha
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
  Severity: Critical
  Priority: Other
 Component: Auth/Access
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

It seems that the security bug (reported on bulletin on 17-June-2002) that was
solved in 1.3.26 does NOT solve the problem for Tru64 unix. Can you confirm or
deny that it was tested on Tru64 unix 4.0d and higher and 5.1?

Thanks,
Jeff
