• configure environments using AWS EC2, AWS Dynamo DB, AWS S3, AWS VPC, and
AWS Security Groups (creating, maintaining, configuring) using IAM

• Configure AWS Elastic Load Balancer, AMI.
• Configure user profiles using AWS IAM and other external utilities.
• Set up Splunk to diagnose problems
• Continuous integration of code and deployments using Puppet, Jenkins,
Maven for Development, QA and couple of other environments.
• Install Boto, Python and other tools as required by the application team
• Configure VPN for leveraging Puppet services across multiple VPC’s.

*Responsibilities:*

The Test Lead, Performance Testing CoE, is responsible for managing the
execution of performance tests (load, volume, stress, capacity and
scalability) that meet and exceed business non-functional requirements on a
variety of Wiley projects and products. The Test Lead is accountable for
the design and development of performance test scripts through analysis of
product specifications and requirements.  The Test Lead oversees and
actively participates in the development and execution of performance test
scripts, and the creation of performance testing artifacts including test
strategy and test plans, test cases, test execution reports, defect/issues
reports, action/item reports, and project plans.



The Test Lead is responsible for ensuring that testing meets project
milestone deadlines and manages any risk to those dates.  The Test Lead
provides expertise on performance testing tools and capabilities and
mentors and coaches more junior team members.  The Test Lead will
collaborate with other teams including Product, Business, Development, SQA
Testing, Technology Deployment, Operations and Support as necessary.  The
Test Lead will define test objectives, lead performance testing
engagements, and provide analysis and guidance in resolving performance
issues, defects and bottlenecks.

To be successful, the Test Lead must have a broad knowledge of performance
testing methodology and tools (HP LoadRunner, SiteScope, Dynatrace,
Shunra), with an understanding of various technologies and architecture.
This position requires a person who is highly skilled at handling complex
technical situations and has exceptional verbal and written communication
skills.




*Requirements:*· A minimum of 5-7 years of performance testing or
relevant experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
· Participate in requirements and design reviews to identify test
scenarios/cases to be executed for Performance and Load Testing.
·  Oversee development of and execution of automated test scripts
for Performance and Load Testing. Analyze requirements and product
specifications to determine the test objectives and the appropriate level
and type of testing needed.
· Oversee and actively participate in the creation of Performance
Test artifacts including test strategy and test plans, entry and exit
criteria, test execution reports, defect/issues reports, action/item
reports, and project plans.
· Ensure sufficient level of stakeholders’ participation in all
phases of the Performance Testing life cycle.
· Ensure appropriate stakeholders’ signoff is obtained where
required on test artifacts and exceptions.
· Provide the proper level of upward communication regarding status
and accomplishments, as well as, escalation of issues and recommendations
for issue resolution.
· Experience leading Performance and Load Testing in global
companies with geographically dispersed team members.  Experience with HP
Performance Center or LoadRunner, Shunra, Sitescope, and Dynatrace.

The Test Lead, Performance Testing CoE, is responsible for managing the
execution of performance tests (load, volume, stress, capacity and

relevant experience

· Participate in requirements and design reviews to identify test

for Performance and Load Testing. Analyze requirements and product
specifications to determine the test objectives and the appropriate level
and type of testing needed.
· Oversee and actively participate in the creation of Performance
