Jobtitle : Oracle PL/SQL Developer Location : Jefferson City, MO Duration : 4+ Months Contract *Rate : $40/Hr On C2C/1099* JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for the analysis of specifications and design logic, plus writing, customizing, testing, debugging, supporting and documenting a Oracle PL/SQL solution. Responsible for converting business logic into a deliverable Oracle PL/SQL solution. Responsible for writing effective Oracle PL/SQL for a high volume data warehouse while keeping in mind needs of other users, processes and effectively utilizing existing indexes on the tables.. Responsible for scheduling Oracle PL/SQL batch jobs, writing configurable PL/SQL, effectively logging job progress, writing re-usable procedures and/or methods. Responsible for providing solutions to an architect provided framework or suggest better ways of accomplishing the tasks. Responsible for creating summary tables from record level data. Responsible for assistance and consulting activities with the end users to ensure that requirements are met. Responsible for the creation and execution of both queries and reports. Knowledge of all areas of the system development life cycle including: requirements gathering/review, design, application programming, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support. Responsible for building expertise with new technologies, software, methods and tools. Responsible for following departmental processes & procedures. Responsible for contributing to a high-performing, motivated work group by applying interpersonal communication and collaboration skills to achieve project goals and realize value. Responsible for working with peers, team leads and supervisors to ensure assignment deadlines are communicated and being met. Qualifications/Education Required: Essential 5 years experience in Oracle PL/SQL 9/10/11 or higher Experience in Oracle Stored procedures Oracle batch jobs Oracle PL/SQL Oracle SQL Oracle Data modeling Summary tables 5 years experience in PL/SQL, Native SQL with Oracle 5 years experience in a Helpdesk/Problem Tracking environment. 5 years experience Relational and Dimensional database experience. 5 years experience writing configurable PL/SQL, Native SQL with Oracle Performance analysis and tuning 4 year Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience. Preferred 3 year experience in SSRS. Know how to create User groups and roles to manage security in Oracle and Access Rights of the Reports for the end users. Capable of troubleshooting report performance and query optimization issues. End User and Client support experience.
