*Qualifications and Requirements:*

* Deep understanding of Hadoop architecture, HDFS,
MapReduce and other components in the Hadoop echo system

*  A minimum of one year experience in installing,
configuring and tuning Hadoop distributions such as  IBM Big Insights,
Cloudera, Hortonworks or MapR

*  A deep understanding of Hadoop design principals and
factors that affect distributed system performance, including hardware and
network considerations

*  Strong background in Unix/Linux administration and or
networking is a plus

*  Prior experience with supporting production applications
and ensuring high availability is required

*  Strong experience in Linux/Unix commands and scripting

*  Good understanding of data security and compliance
requirements governing sensitive data and how to secure data in Hadoop
implementations

*  Broad knowledge of infrastructure including compute,

- The candidate will primarily handle support activities for Cloudera
Hadoop clusters including incident management, cluster management,
