Level: 8+ years* *Start Date: ASAP* *Duration: 6 months* *Required Skills:* · 8-10 years of experience in development · Some experience with FTP, SFTP, or other file transmission protocols, and understanding of setting up a Windows FTP server - Windows 2008/Windows 2012. Must be able to troubleshoot FTP issues (e.g. Using Wireshark or other trace tool) and understand how to fix FTP scripts. · Experience with Build and Deployment automation and Continuous Integration. · Must be able to program in C++/VC++, and have familiarity with Visual Studio 6.0 and COM objects. · Must have experience working with databases, and writing SQL queries. · Understanding of deploying software on Windows servers - including installing a binary as a service, registering/unregistering DLLs, etc. · Understanding of and proven work experience in : SQL Server 2008/2012, Windows 2008/2012, ASP. · Good knowledge and work experience in one or more scripting languages e.g. Perl, vbscript, javascript, python. · Experience programming in older Windows technologies like Visual Basic 6.0 and COM+, would be highly desirable. · Experience in data center migrations, and/or migrating Windows applications from older Windows OS to newer versions would be a plus.
