*POS: Performance Test Engineer* *LOC: Denver, CO(F2F is required) * *Duration: 12 Months * * * *I have a new position in Denver and wanted to see if you had any candidates/consultants. The position is located in Denver. They do not have to be local, but they will have to interview in person. (we can help with flight costs)* * * *Skills needed include: Performance Testing, Automated Test skills, Benchmark Testing, Performance Engineering, and Rational Performance Tester (highly preferred), Mercury LoadRunner will be considered in lieu of Rational. * * * * * *Qualifications: * - *5+ years experience with software performance engineering, benchmark testing and analysis * - *5+ years experience as a performance engineer * - *3+ years experience with IBM Rational Performance Tester * - *Significant experience monitoring, analyzing, and tuning, application and system performance * - *Understanding of throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization * - *Strong statistical and analytical skill and mind set * - *Strong research, problem solving and troubleshooting ability * - *Experience working with global development teams * - *Experience working in a fast paced, constantly expanding and changing environment * - *Very strong organization, multi-tasking, communication, time management and documentation skills * - *Strong knowledge of databases (Oracle preferred) * - *Strong knowledge of Unix and Windows operating system * - *Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field * - *Background in the financial sector. Experience in the Credit Card / Merchant Processing arena would be preferred.
