Position : .Net Developer Location: Chicago,IL Duration : 6 Months
Job Description: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience 4+ years developing application software. 3+ years .NET experience, including VB.NET and ASP.NET Experience with object oriented development Experience with multi-tiered applications 3 years of related work experience with building enterprise web applications with Microsoft tools, including: ASP, VB 6, COM+, IIS, MS SQL 2000 & 2005, HTML, CSS & JavaScript Knowledge/Experience using the following Tools/Technologies: Web Services XML .NET Security Visual Studio 4.0 Three years of related work experience with Software Life Cycle Development including the use of VSS and deploying releases through multiple environments as part of a repeatable and reversible release management procedure. Experience in creating written requirements documents that can be understood and useful to both end users and developers Experience in estimating work effort based on user requirements and delivering within the promised estimates Experience in creating and executing unit test plans Experience in to creating End User Acceptances tests Ability to take the initiative to solve problems Ability to work within the policies and procedures of Application Development Be driven by the desire to achieve measurable, specific results within tight time frames Commitment to excellence in customer service Ability to switch between projects & bug fixes/enhancements is a must. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment where priorities change swiftly. Desired Skills: Experience in Agile software development methodology is a plus. Experience with Association Managements systems/CRM’s is a plus Experience with TIMSS and PERSONIFY is a plus.
