[BVARC] WPX contest operation during Houston Hamfest
Sign up with Curt Fletcher, WG5H, and Pat Cameron, KJ5Y, to operate the WPX SSB contest at the Houston Hamfest on March 25th, 2017, using their Remote Stations. It's a unique opportunity to operate and learn about the two different remote systems - Software based, KJ5Y, and Hardware based, WG5H. Both stations have superb setup for working DX. KJ5Y - Remote Hams software, 20 meter dipole at 120 feet, 1.3 KW, N1MM software WG5H - Remote Rig hardware, 10-20 meter beam at 135 feet, 500 watts, N1MM software Both call signs are excellent multipliers for the WPX contest.
