Thanks Troy.  I was running the latest release of Cake 1.0.1.2708 that
threw the error.  I rolled back to verson 0.10.9.2378_final which works
fine.

Cake installation on Wamp

I'm currently running wamp on XP and I have unpacked the cake
directories into C:\wamp\www\shared\cake, configured my database file,
C:\wamp\www\shared\cake\app\config.database.php but I get the following
error: Your database configuration file is present.
Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in
c:\wamp\www\shared\cake\cake\libs\model\datasources\dbo_source.php on
line 609
Has anybody run into this problem before?
