Multiple Domain App
Hi, i was wondering if it generally is possible to structure an app in a way that allows for multiple domain "universes" existing next to each other in the same app. So that different url domains land on different layout files and routes show the correct url throughout each universe. Then I wouldn't have to propagate code through different apps which are meant to have or base on same functions or content etc. That would help immensely in my case. Any info very appreciated. Session in AJAX call get's overwritten
I am storing values in my session in one of my AJAX calls. The session is getting overwritten correctly. But when I make some other call(AJAX or non-AJAX), the session value is lost. This doesn't happen every time but in most of the cases. Any way out of this ? Need Intro to how layout concept for schedule / history based functions
what’s the general table / function concept when it comes to time based stuff ? Do I have to work with a date table when its about scheduling / history of bookings, payments, etc. ? Need to calculate open balances based on dynamic price change history, when booking took place etc. Any info, tutorial or docu recommendation welcome. My blog tutorial is working for other but not working on my server ...
Hi ... I'm just getting started and did the blog 1.2 tutorial. My webroot index at http://dev1.onefh.com/ is all o.k. and green. But the blog app at http://dev1.onefh.com/posts doesn't come up ... 2 red 1 yellow I uploaded the blog.zip + the database dump to http://www.2he.com/dev/ and two friends on freenode.net IRC downloaded and checked it ... was working for them Have no Idea what else I need to teach my server ... can you guys help me out ? Ya whow ... I just downloaded the newest cakePHP release and freshly installed it to begin with a tutorial ... and was stopped by the 512 warning. Happy to find this solution here I went to the tmp/cache/ persistent dir just to find out there is no cake_core_core_paths ... so I created one and chmod 0777 it ... but the 512 warning continues coming up ... the screencast quicktime videos are not playing
... I've installed the latest quicktime on my WinXP but the screencasts are still not playing ... any suggestion how I can get this to work ?
