no, I use another server but propably this is the problem. I'll check
the log files as DJ Spark pointed out. The problem is that these files
remain in the webroot and fill up the available space.

That isn't caused by cake, it's a dump file of what's in memory when
apache crashed. Are you on dreamhost?
