Gziping JS and CSS files using .htaccess

2009-01-24 Thread Sridhar Kuppalli
Hi All,
I am starting a new project by using CakePHP. In my apache based hosting i
don't have access to modify httpd.conf file.
I want to gzip all the css and js files going out of my server. Is there any
method i configure this with .htacess file?
Is anybody implemented this method?

Thanks & Regards
Sridhar Kuppalli
