Re: Idea about bin
I would have thought that a paste bin by definition is more likely to have dodgy code people are asking about in the group than beautiful examples ripe for a case study. Isn't the case study worthy, useful quality code better suited to the snippets mechanism? --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Cake PHP group. As far as I can tell the bin is only for temporary code pastes you want to share with people. It's not meant as a permanent location for your code to be commented on by people. Yes, I know that pastes to the bin can be saved but in my opinoin code you want to stick around forever to be commented on should go on your own blog or in the bakery. -- Chris Hartjes Senior Developer Cake Development Corporation My motto for 2007: Just build it, damnit! @TheBallpark -http://www.littlehart.net/attheballpark @TheKeyboard -http://www.littlehart.net/atthekeyboard --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Cake PHP group. I don't know about you, but I have syntax highlighting in my blog so when I put code samples in a blog posting it shows up in a nicely coloured syntax AND with line numbers. Feel free to submit a ticket at http://trac.cakephp.org asking for an ehancement to be made to the Bin to allow for comments. -- Chris Hartjes Senior Developer Cake Development Corporation My motto for 2007: Just build it, damnit! @TheBallpark - http://www.littlehart.net/attheballpark @TheKeyboard - http://www.littlehart.net/atthekeyboard --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Cake PHP group.
