No guarantee, but the /app/tmp directory must be writable by the web- server, so I guess that will work (see http://book.cakephp.org/view/31/Permissions). Permission problem in baking script
Dear Cakephp Members Hi I have problem in baking script in Ubuntu Linux 8.04 with Apache. There is a working installation of Cakephp in my /var/www/cake folder path and it is working wthiout any problem but i want to use Console to create Models,Controls and Views . The error is something like this Web Server has not Permission To create file in /var/www/app/temp . Is there any Solution to These problem.If i try to give permission using my root user will be work or not?
