i don't look through. how can i create an insert? $this-data['File']['id'] = '99'; $this-data['User']['id'] = '66'; $this-data['FilesUser']['uploaded'] = '2008-06-06 06:06:20'; when i call $this-File-save($this-data); it saves the user.id and the file.id in the Table, and leaves the ofther files blank! if you know both id's and just need to save one extra field, save directly to the join table. but i'm not willing to elaborate, if you aren't willing to spend some time to learn.
