Another tip.
bootstrap:
Configure::write('Config.languages', array('eng','ned', 'deu'));
routes:
$lang_regexp = implode('|', Configure::read('Config.languages'));
Now you can use the following without having to repeat your list of langs:
'language' => $lang_regexp,
