Hi sdudoit, I think that if you create a ticket and document (concisely) the problem with reference to an unhacked and upto date install it will hopefully be fixed. And yes, I did read that you moved the folders around (I don´t think you are alone.Did I say you? I meant we ;) ), and no I don´t think that should be a problem. Done. I have opened a new ticket here : https://trac.cakephp.org/ticket/1049 I recreated the bug using a fresh release of cake 1.1.5 to be as clear as possible.
