plugins for uploading images/ files in cakephp v2.0

2011-10-28 Thread Anand Ramamurthy
Hello,

I was curious if there are any recommendations for CakePHP v2.0
plugins for uploading, resizing images to the server. I looked at some
of the implementations like Uploader and Media Plugins but encountered
problems with them. It could be that they were written for v1.3
It would be great if somebody could suggest a plugin for v2.0

Thanks,

Anand

2010-05-08 Thread Graham Weldon
Lithium is a PHP Framework for PHP 5.3+ developed by a group of developers
that used to work on the CakePHP Framework.
You can find more information on their website: http://lithify.me

Lithium is not affiliated or associated with CakePHP.

I hope that clears things up for you.

Re: cakephp v2.0

2010-05-07 Thread Graham Weldon
The team has been working towards 2.0 with more and more enthusiasm.
We;ve been internally debating the structure and organisation of
repositories and a few feature changes and generally deciding on the
priorities of development.

A loose roadmap is available here:
http://cakephp.lighthouseapp.com/projects/42649/2x-development-roadmap

However,
we're discussing where these docs should go, and we will be making a few
changes in the coming days.

Keep your eyes on the bakery in the next couple of days for a post regarding
2.0 development, and where we are heading.
