There's nothing to do with the version. But I think u need to configure the apache to send an email since it was localhost. I tried to send a mail using existing code in cake php mannual. bt it doesnt give an error and not send the email. so I want to know, can't send a email using default cake php email component to gmail account? is there any configurations to send the mail in somewhere?(like php.ini) I used following versions!
