I made my own pages_controller and put it in app/controllers
I Added this to line 78
// DIFFERS from core --->
// hack for trail slash issue

if(count($path > 1)) {
if (strlen(end($path)) === 0) {
unset($path[count($path) - 1]);
}
}
It seems to have fixed it and not broken other pages, or even nested
ones.
Thought I would post for anyone else who might have this issue. I dont
know if it is deriving from xampp or what...
