uploading file to directory

Farjad, you should read this: http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.file-upload.php The easiest thing to do is to debug($this-data) in your action so you can see how the array is laid out (and if it's correct). The file is probably in /tmp and you'll still need to move save the file from there.
