[Callers] Need a caller this Sat Jan 27, Wareham MA

2018-01-26 Thread Paul Wilde via Callers
Dearest Hive,

Is anyone available to call a dance this Sat, 7-10 PM, in Wareham MA,
just before the Bourne Bridge?

I've been down w/ the flu for 6 days and it hasn't let go yet. No
voice, just a whisper.

Contact me off-list for details. It is a small dance, typically 20-30.

Thanks everyone,
Paul

PS If accommodations are needed, that can probably be arranged (don't
worry, NOT w/ me this time).

2018-01-26 Thread Grant Goodyear via Callers
Incidentally, I tend to cheat when I call this dance, although it's one of
my favorites. I replace B2 with "Cir lf ¾; bal ring, pass through to new
wave". The reason is that the timing in A1 is quite tight, and I tend to
call this dance early in my program (often the 3rd or 4th dance of the
evening.)

I know I've got a couple more in the files but this is the only one I
could find easily: Chuck the Budgie by Rick Mohr.

A1 M allemande L 1x; N sw.
A2 Circle L 3/4; P sw.
B1 LLFB; W allemande R 1-1/2 to short wave.
B2 Balance wave, allemande L 3/4 to long waves; Balance wave, N
allemande R 3/4.
