only have this in GS. We need to have that in that product as well.

[Carbon-dev] Issues on the Abdera Branch on Trunk {Re: Build Error: Webharvest Jar Missing}

2010-08-01 Thread Senaka Fernando
Hi all,

We need to create a new Abdera branch for the trunk, to incorporate the new
Axiom version. Shankar did point this issue during an offline discussion,
but for some reason, we were able to compile Abdera during that time. Most
probably since the Axiom svn:external was not switched to trunk.

Now that we are having issues, and since there seems to be some API changes
between the Axiom version that we use (1.2.10-SNAPSHOT) now and which was
used on the Abdera branch (1.2.9-wso2v1). The startup failure being
discussed on the Synapse list is an example for one such API change.

However, something interesting to note is that the old Abdera branch (which
was used for the Iridium release), does not compile on a clean repo. The
issue seems to be that we have changed the Axiom version to one of our
local-Axiom-branch versions, but have not added our maven repositories (in
our Abdera branch). Therefore, maven cannot locate some artifacts.

While we can be more careful of such in the future, is it possible use some
script to test/correct all poms?

Thanks,
Senaka.

 Hi Ruchira,

Can you have a look into this build error and get this sorted.

Ran into the issue on the builder. It seems that the Abdera build broke, and
everything under it didn't compile as a result.

I will have this sorted asap.

I think you need to build [1] first.
