[Carbon-dev] Test failure in branch - user core (NoClassDefFoundError: CarbonContextHolder)

2011-05-23 Thread Hasini Gunasinghe
Hi,

Following error is reported in test reports of user core in branch.

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class
org.wso2.carbon.utils.multitenancy.CarbonContextHolder

But there is no such error in user-core of trunk. Does anyone have an idea
what might be the reason?

Can this be related to some patches being applied to trunk, but not being
applied to branch yet?

Thanks,
Hasini.

2. https://wso2.org/jira/browse/CARBON-9980
3. https://wso2.org/jira/browse/CARBON-9699

I have fixed #1.

And I am working on #2 as part of some customer support issue. And I am
planning to fix #2 within today.

I'll look into #3 and I hope to fix that within tomorrow.

As Supun said, you have set HTTP transportlistener port as 8280 and https
listener 8243 in axis2.xml but the Server url specified in carbon.xml was
https://localhost:8443/wsas/services/

Seems you have used different values for transport ports in axis2.xml but
haven't done that change in the other config files. Can you do the
deployment with the default configs mentioned in the guide and how it goes?
Then we can try to do the other changes.

thanks.

The pointer to ant createWAR helped but the system never recovers from a
problem in BridgeServlet. The startup logs look normal; no problem
 reported.
But running bin/shutdown.sh reports an exception and leaves WSAS running
 and
blocking the port so subsequent bin/startup.sh fails. Takes a sudo kill -9
 #
 to recover.

I tried debugging it but don't have the output here; I recall it was
some call to an admin service (look up user name?) that never returns.

Re: [Carbon-dev] Cannot load JDBC driver class 'com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver'

2011-05-23 Thread Anjana Fernando
Hi Jorge,

Download the driver from here [1], and get the sqljdbc4.jar and copy it to
/repository/components/lib. And clear out any other mssql jars that's
already there in /repository/components/[lib|dropins]. Your approach is not
working maybe because, those separate jars have same Java packages inside
them, which would be a problem in OSGi (you can merge those jars to a single
jar also and see).

Cheers,
Anjana.

The pointer to ant createWAR helped but the system never recovers from a
problem in BridgeServlet. The startup logs look normal; no problem
 reported.
But running bin/shutdown.sh reports an exception and leaves WSAS running
 and
blocking the port so subsequent bin/startup.sh fails. Takes a sudo kill -9

I tried debugging it but don't have the output here; I recall it was

[Carbon-dev] Still unable to deploy WSAS 4 Nighly on Tomcat

2011-05-23 Thread Brad Cox
Thanks to all who contributed recipes for how to do this. Stillnot
successful.

The pointer to ant createWAR helped but the system never recovers from a
problem in BridgeServlet. The startup logs look normal; no problem reported.
But running bin/shutdown.sh reports an exception and leaves WSAS running and
blocking the port so subsequent bin/startup.sh fails. Takes a sudo kill -9 #
to recover.

I tried debugging it but don't have the output here; I recall it was some
call to an admin service (look up user name?) that never returns.

But, overall, I feel branching is stable (at least structurally) to a

We have hit a zero bug bounce case. We keep getting issues, but it is below
the mark of 50.
Unless we release now, we will keep on finding issues for ever.

These packs we have are much better than the previous 3.1.0 release. So it
is time to stand on our feet and release.

And look to fix the rest in the series of point releases. So we keep the
testing going on, and fixing going on. That does not mean that we should
keep the users from working features.

[Carbon-dev] Does mutual authentication works with current trunk?

2011-05-23 Thread Amila Suriarachchi
hi,

I tried to invoke an mutually authenticated rule service by the following
code.

 System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore",
"client/conf/wso2carbon.jks");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword",
"wso2carbon");

System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore",
"client/conf/wso2carbon.jks");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword",
"wso2carbon");

PriceCalculatorServiceStub stub = new
PriceCalculatorServiceStub("
https://localhost:9443/services/PriceCalculatorService";);

this works with wso2brs-1.1.0 but not with the current trunk.

I only changed the true
parameter in mgt-transports.xml.

thanks,
Amila.
