[Carbon-dev] Build failure in service-stubs/ under Maven 3
Hi, I faced the following issue when building carbon/service-stubs/ with Maven 3.0.3, and a fresh repo. The log is given below. This error is not produced in Maven 2. As I found out, the issue was that Maven3 doesn't identify the carbon root pom, ie. org.wso2.carbon:carbon-platform. A workaround for this problem is to build the carbon root pom first with all the module declarations in its pom.xml commented out. And then, remove the added comments in the copied carbon-platform pom in the M2 repo. But I think this needs to be fixed to minimize this inconvenience, and isn't straight-forward for a new builder. Re: [Carbon-dev] Compilation error in Google Apps Registration UI
Hi Nirmal, This is error is possibly due to an incorrectly built stub. Apparently, the stub for package org.wso2.carbon.stratos.common.packages.stub has never generated in your case. Make sure that the relevant project that is responsible for generating this stub in service-stubs has no issue when building. Though the build get *successful*, the WSDL2Java may have *failed* with some exception thrown. This has happened to me before. I had to comment out some modules, and restart the build from carbon root. In my case, it was about missing some Axiom deps. [Carbon-dev] Exceptions when DOM is used instead of DOOM in Rampart (Relates to Axis2/Rampart Performance Improvement)
Hello, we were trying to use Rampart without using DOOM objects. i.e. instead of converting OMElement - DOOM we do OMElement - DOM conversion.
