[cas-user] Re: cas5.3X Multiple system login

2019-04-16 Thread Andy Ng
Hmm... interesting, don't know why it doesn't work...

For your question about JSESSIONID, CAS mostly do not relies on JSESSIONID
to check if user login-ed or not.

Instead, CAS will generate a cookie called *TGC *cookie, and look at this
instead.

About the login problem, can you *enable debug logs* (
https://apereo.github.io/cas/5.3.x/installation/Troubleshooting-Guide.html#review-logs)

and show the log to this group (of course need to hide the sensitive
information),
because it is hard to debug without more information.

Cheers!
- Andy

[cas-user] Re: cas5.3X Multiple system login

2019-04-16 Thread 李雁敏
I configured the https certificate and also logged in successfully.
However, it still does not solve the problem of one login and multiple
applications no longer log in.
I found the JSESSIONID when I located it. This JSESSIONID is in the path of
different applications. When cas is verifying the cookie, will JSESSIONID
affect it?

Re: [cas-user] Re: CAS Slow Load Time

2019-04-16 Thread Tepe, Dirk
CAS bootstraps a number of services and can be slow to reach an operational
state. I ran into another situation which contributed to a very slow load
time, but I don't if it would apply to you. We use local VMs with vagrant
and VirtualBox for development. I found that when I ran a new WAR file from
a location that was shared from my host filesystem into the VM, the load
time was extremely slow. Simply copying the WAR to the local file system
made a dramatic difference. Could your filesystem be something to look at?

Re: [cas-user] Re: CAS Slow Load Time

2019-04-16 Thread Richard Frovarp
CAS is a quite complicated system. I don't know how 5.2 works, but if you are
running the management application in the same Tomcat on 5.3, that is what
takes a long time to start. By default it is trying to pull data from the IdP
to start. It not starting means that Tomcat isn't listening, so it can't
retrieve the data from the IdP, preventing it from starting. That lasts until
it times out, and it just starts. There's a config flag to stop that behavior.

The CAS logs have timestamps. They'll tell you what it is up to on startup.
It's possible its timing out trying to connect to something else. Depending on
your heap sizes, you could also have extra memory pressure. But the fact that
you're saying it is taking minutes likely means that something is timing out
when trying to connect to something on startup. The other thing I can think of
would be your entropy source, no idea how heavily CAS leans on that for startup.

Why does it take so long? It seems like maybe it's Spring Bloat, no? I can't

Is there any way of making it not take that long? e.g. Maybe I can somehow

Thanks.

Tomcat starts up in about 5 seconds for our application which is 80,000 lines

[cas-user] Re: Help with redirecting user after terminating sessions

2019-04-16 Thread deejam
No one has any experience with the CAS logout flow when delegating
authentication to a third party SAML IDP?

It seems like we basically need to preserve the value of the service
parameter when passed in via
/logout?service=https://app-that-uses-cas.example.com, and pass it to the
third party idp so it can handle the redirect back to the app where the
logout originated.

Or maybe we rethink it and switch to a model where logouts across all apps
land on the same logout landing page.

Other thoughts?

Thanks,
Majeed

[cas-user] Spring email notifications not sent

2019-04-16 Thread Olibouli
Hi all,
I have successfully installed a CAS 5.3.9 with ldap and pm-ldap
dependencies but the password management email notification is not working.

No notification is send when the recover function is used and the log
message catched at this moment is :
*WARN [org.apereo.cas.util.io.CommunicationsManager] - *

I tried to activate the debug mode but it's not telling me something more
to help me to resolv the problem. By the way, the debug log tell me the URL
to recover the password, and this URL is working well when I copy and past
from log to browser.

The problem seem to be related to the email that is not sent.

Here is the spring mail configuration part of the cas.properties :

cas.authn.pm.enabled=true
...
spring.mail.host=***.***.***
spring.mail.port=587
spring.mail.username=***
spring.mail.password=***
spring.mail.testConnection=true
spring.mail.properties.mail.smtp.auth=true
spring.mail.properties.mail.smtp.starttls.enable=true

${configurationKey}.mail.from=cas@***
${configurationKey}.mail.text=castexte
${configurationKey}.mail.subject=caspwd

One other thing I notified : if i throw a tcpdump command through the
interface, I can see some conversation between the CAS server and the mail
server when tomcat service starts (probably because of the line
"spring.mail.testConnection=true") and the log of the mail server confirm
this conversation :

SMTPSubmit SMTPAcceptAnySender SMTPAcceptAuthoritativeDomainSender

but when I try to recover a password entering the ID, nothing is exchanged
between CAS server and mail server and noting in the mail server log. Only
the WARN message in the log of the CAS server :
*WARN [org.apereo.cas.util.io.CommunicationsManager] - *

The email address is OK so the LDAP connection is catching the right
information. The spring email settings seems OK to me like it is showed in
the log during the starting process.

I spend many times to review the configuration parameters without success.

Any idea ?

[cas-user] AuthenticationInterrupt : disabling SSO without showing the Interrut page

2019-04-16 Thread Sébastien BEAUDLOT
Hi,

I am on CAS 5.3.4 with Authentication Interrupt enabled with a Groovy
script.

What i want to achieve is kind of a "quarantine" system that allow or
disallow authentication to services based on an attribute value.

My problem is that, on some cases, i want the groovy script to just go on
with authentication but with SSO enabled, so only this service is allowed
(because the user is still under quarantine). Service should not always be
allowed without SSO, only the script have the "power" to decide what to do.

I couldn't achieve to logon without SSO and without displaying the
Interrupt page (no block, no interrupt, just automatically keep on
authentication silently).

What's working is : return new InterruptResponse(message: message,
interrupt: true, block: false, ssoEnabled: false)

This is Ok but it does display Authentication page, and i don't want to. Is
there another way to achieve this ?

Regards.

Re: [cas-user] CAS 6.x delegated auth chanied with different attributeRepository

Hi,

Sorry to re-run the question but how can I do that ? I've found how to
define a policy with authenticationHandlers but it doesn't help to chain
with an attributeRepository.

Is it possible to do what I want or I should chain all delegated
authenticationHandlers with all attributeResolver ?

Thanks,

have his own attributeRepository, and I need to avoid to chain all
attributeRepository. Is it possible or should I implement something ?

If I should implement something could you tell me what is the best way
(and where to look) ?

I'm following the CAS master branch.

Thanks,
