I'm dredging up this old thread because I think the fix you comitted
for this problem:

is not correct; I think the relational latency in mirror_spectrum
should also be set to 1 explicitly.
I don't have hard evidence for this, but I think that designs I've
compiled where the relational latency was 1 had good spectra, whereas
those with relational latency of 0 have a glitch in one bin every
1/8th of the spectrum, where the 1/8th comes from the number of
parallel inputs in the system.
Can anyone else verify this?

Hi Glen

The mirror_spectrum script was rewritten in commit 50416. I basically 
copied it exactly. The problem was that this was with a newer version of 
System Generator where the default latency was 0 for Relational blocks. 
So the generated logic was incorrect and I fixed this in commit b37f8d4. 
We figured out why eventually and then explicitly set the latencies for 
other Relational blocks.


commit 504a6 would work if you were using an older version of System 
Generator. You can go in and change the latency to 1 and see the 
difference in the output (the error every 1/8th of a spectrum).


I am pretty sure the current setup is correct but it might be some 
System Generator versions combined with some library versions do not work.
