A merlin has been circling high in the sky for last few minutes. Initially, I
thought it was sharpie, but views from binoculars showed it to be a falcon.
May be it is the same one that Dave reported from Stewart Park today morning.
There were also some smaller birds around it, probably they were swallows, yes
now I confirmed they are tree swallows. I think Merlin has been circling for
more than 10 minutes. May be there are some insects that high. Darners?
Lot of activity so high up in the sky! May be some migration occurring!
I also saw a monarch head south!
