Pigeon bands are unrelated to songbird and raptor banding in the US and
Canada. The racers have a reliable reporting site at Lost Found Bird
Information American Racing Pigeon Union | Homing Pigeons | ARPU Sport

Read the numbers and try reporting it, They have been good at providing
quick feedback.

Breeders also use small bands, usually colored and they are unregulated.
