Gorgeous EURASIAN WIGEON in fall plumage with nice rufous head present with AMERICAN WIGEONS. Also SANDHILL CRANE closer to east road. Non breeding plumage BLACK TERN which was a surprise. Also had 1 non breeder on wildlife drive amid many adults.
Refound 2 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS with much better views. Birds eventually flew and are tucked away out of view now behind some weeds. Maybe the view would be better from Towpath rd if still present in morning? Refound 2 GREATER YELLOWLEGS as well. CASPIAN TERNS COMMON TERNS and SNOW GOOSE all still present. Plenty of GREAT EGRETS too.
